Text Box: Submission Guidelines We stress quality above genre. Please check out the online zine to get an idea of what we like and read the guidelines we have published in our online Zine. We accept We the following: poetry essays on poetics or creative writing short stories original illustrations &photography biographic essays about established poets photographs to accompany essays or bios The deadline for Winter Issues is: December 15th each year. The deadline for Summer Issues is: June 15th each year. We read continuously, but all submissions must be unpublished works. Simultaneous submissions are not accepted. Big Pond Rumour Zine has a Contest in every issue of the Zine with publication and prizes for the Contest Winners. The author always retains copyright of their work. However, we reserve first internet publication copyright. We also reserve the right to publish any work submitted to the magazine in a future Big Pond Rumour Anthology in print publication format. We prefer email submissions HOWEVER please include a bio note. Otherwise, submit your work with a S.A.S.E. (Self Addressed and Stamped Envelop). International authors must send sufficient International Reply Coupons to cover mailing costs when sending their work by snail mail if you wish the copy sent to be returned. If you are using E-mail to submit please use the guidelines above and provide your work in the body of an email. NOTE: We will not open E-mail attachments.
