Text Box: Call for submissions to the Press: If you are a Canadian, a poet … and you do live readings … you are invited to make a submission to Big Pond Rumour. Our focus is Canadian poetry. Criteria for Submission: You must be a performing artist and a previously published Canadian poet! That means you will have some experience in reading your work aloud to a live audience. You also have published at least one book or chapbook, or you have poems in at least 20 journals or periodicals. Guidelines for Submission: Send an email query with a sample of 10 poems in the body of the email. Be sure to clearly state in the email header “submission for the press” . This will alert us you are seeking book publication… Otherwise, your submission will be looked at as a submission to the Zine. If we like what we read we will contact you to get more information. We may ask to see a CD or book manuscript. Checklist for Submissions: a note providing your name, address, phone number and a working email address. a Curriculum Vitae (resume) which details your publications and your live readings. Response Time: Please allow 3—4 months for a review of your submission. Notice: We no longer accept submissions by snail mail.
