Jupiter heard screams from Darfar and Brazil heard the sounds of war sent Pandora, beloved by the hidden gods, down the veiled mount to a bent and troubled world, gave her a box filled with graceful gifts, prudence and peace, wisdom and love to help mend the tears of too many children awash in blood, the sacrificial lambs - like Isaac would have been. Bidden to hurry, for the end was near, she flew with a jeweled box but tumbled in the air. The gifts escaped and vanished in the upper atmosphere, except for one which drifted as a feather would down onto a last chance earth.
