“It only took about two months for my legs to get back in working order. And

everything else is back to normal except for the fact that my thumb and forefinger on my left hand can’t touch anymore. It’s what you get I suppose. The ride was nice while it lasted anyway. I just got sloppy. That’s all.”

 

“So now here I am, a year or so later, trying to get back my courage for the stage.”

“I’m hoping you can help Doc. They say you’re the best at fixing heads.”

“And hey, I’ve got a new joke too.”

“Yeah? Okay.”

“Why’d the chicken fall out of the tree?”

 

“Cause it was stapled to the monkey.”

“Not bad huh? Yeah, it’s my own.”

“I think it’s a step in the right direction anyway.”

“Well, that’s all the back story.”

“Okay. Go ahead and heal me Doc. I’m ready to laugh again.”
