Poetry Judge

Originally from India, Footman spent most of her life in Edinburgh and graduated from Edinburgh University, coming to Canada in 1979. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in Canada, the USA and the UK . She now teaches part time, as well as offering workshops and readings. Her four collections are: Through a Stained Glass Window (poetry, 1990) Envoi Press, Wales; Gathering Fuel in Vacant Lots (1992) HMS Press, Canada; St.Valentine's Day (1995) Broken Jaw Press, Canada; Cosmopolitan: A collection of Haiku (1998) Bald Eagle Press. |

Fiction Judge

Simon Leigh is an Australian born writer and activist living in Canada. He studied at Sydney University, Oxford and The University of New Brunswick. He is now retired but taught University and College English for more than twenty years. His books include: Short Strokes (poetry, 2006); Wild Women (2005, novel) UKA Press, United Kingdom; Metamorphosis II (2005) RS Publishing, Newcastle, Australia; The Bleeding Clock (Fiddlehead Press, Canada) and Dying Flowers (Fiddlehead Press, Canada). |
