ESSAYS ON THE TOPIC OF WRITING: Submit 6-15 standard pages of prose (double-spaced), with your name and the title of the story in the top right corner of each page.

 

ESTABLISHED WRITER BIOGRAPHIES: Submit 6-15 standard pages of prose (double-spaced, as above).

 

PHOTOGRAPHS & ILLUSTRATIONS: We consider both colour and b/w pieces. We invite submissions of single pieces and will arrange to ‘feature’ an artist’s work with multiple pieces. *Important* Please send us a scan of your work, do not send us original pieces. You can send images (gif, jpg or bitmap) by email.

 

VIA SNAIL MAIL-> Submit your work with a SASE:

A self-addressed, self stamped envelope is required for the return of your submission. (International authors must send sufficient International Reply Coupons to cover mailing costs when sending by snail mail.) SUBMISSIONS WITHOUT SUFFICIENT RETURN POSTAGE WILL NOT BE RETURNED!

INTERNATIONAL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE SUFFICIENT INTERNATIONAL REPLY COUPONS.

(International Reply Coupons are obtained at your local Post Office).

YOUR SUBMISSION CHECKLIST:

 

· A cover letter providing your name, address, phone number and a working email address.

· A Curriculum Vitae (resume) detailing your previous periodical and/or book publications.

· Your mailing address (so we can send a copy of the (e)zine to you).

PLEASE NOTE: If your work is accepted, a photograph will be required for the contributors' page.

 

PAYMENT FOR SUBMISSIONS:

 

We are brand new and this is a labour of love as we are working without funding. We’d like to offer payment in the future but we simply cannot afford to at this time. In fact, we found production and mailing costs are so high we can not afford to send print versions of the Zine to contributors. We will supply a contributor copy of the issue your work appears in to you at 1/2 price (but only by request and prepaid). The good news ? All issues of our Zine remain posted in the archives section of the site.

 

 

RESPONSE TIME:
