A Short-Short Tale of It All

J. D. Martin grew up across Lake Erie in the U.S.A., but his mother's family goes back nine generations in Quebec, Canada.

He is retired from a 40-year career in international aviation that included a stint as a USAF instructor-pilot with the Luftwaffe. Martin now lives in Munich, Germany where he writes full time. Many of his prose pieces are very short, somewhat in the manner of O. Henry.

J. D. has completed two full length novels: In A Distant Garden, and Letters From my Mother's Lover. A third, The Money Plane, is nearing completion and flesh is curing for a fourth. He has also written works for children, (Max Schmetterling and His Musical Cows), some poems, and tons of short-shorts.
